founder & Owner - Cherise Tuttle
Cherise Tuttle is the founder of The Inverted Life, a logistics and project management company built to execute ambitious ideas in the world’s most challenging environments. She has spent decades operating at the intersection of adventure, storytelling, and field operations—turning complex, high-risk concepts into reality.
Raised by the mountains and shaped by a life off the beaten path, Cherise has built her career on navigating uncertainty with precision. From leading expedition logistics to managing film productions and supporting environmental initiatives in remote regions, she specializes in bringing order to the unpredictable.
Her background spans adventure sports media, global travel, and on-the-ground coordination in extreme environments. As a writer and photographer, her work has been featured in Outside and Cross Country magazines, capturing stories that often go untold.
As a Production Manager, Project Manager, Consultant, and Logistics Liaison, Cherise leads with a hands-on, solutions-driven approach—building trusted partnerships, coordinating diverse teams, and ensuring that every detail is accounted for. Her work is defined by one core belief: with the right strategy, support, and execution, nothing is out of reach.
Passionate about making a meaningful contribution to the world, Cherise prioritizes projects that create lasting social and environmental impact. Before her husband, Cody, passed away in 2019, they produced Nyima, a documentary surrounding the oppressive caste system in Nepal. Cherise proudly carries that legacy forward as she continues to support impoverished families and children in the remote villages of the Himalaya. She has also contributed to impactful storytelling through projects such as The Last Glacier documentary working with global organizations including the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), further aligning her work with initiatives focused on environmental awareness and climate action.
World Perspective
By fully immersing ourselves in each culture we encounter, our team approaches every project with depth, awareness, and intention. We go beyond surface-level execution by integrating local insight, strategic planning, and precise coordination—ensuring that each initiative reflects both the realities on the ground and the broader environmental and social context in which it exists. In a rapidly changing world, we are driven to deliver work that is not only effective, but grounded in truth, responsibility, and purpose.
As part of this mission, we are committed to advancing both environmental and humanitarian impact through the projects we manage. We support initiatives focused on conservation and climate resilience, while also working to expand access and opportunity for underserved communities through education, resources, and meaningful partnerships. By aligning strong project management with mission-driven work, we aim to create outcomes that are both operationally successful and lasting in their impact.
Experience
We understand that many of the places we’ve explored feel out of reach for most. Our goal is to change that—designing and managing experiences around the world that invite you to step into the extraordinary.
Through thoughtful planning and seamless execution, we create opportunities for you to fully immerse yourself in new cultures, challenge your limits, and gain a deeper understanding of both the world and your place within it. Each journey is intentionally crafted to balance adventure, authenticity, and personal growth.
Travel is more than movement—it’s perspective. It expands how we see, think, and connect.
